The Swedish Hunters' Association needed a holistic approach and a total review of the entire digital customer journey. This applied to everything from system solutions, CRM, payment flows and My Pages together with an updated website.
This means everything from the management of membership fees and internal communication to a new modern website with an updated and appealing look.
We started work in 2023 by mapping all existing systems, how they talked to each other and what bottlenecks existed today. We looked at the needs of each visitor type and user:
To ensure that the new website would be both searchable and relevant to the target audience, we carried out a comprehensive keyword analysis. We also analyzed existing content to identify potential for improvement and create a strategy for new content. Based on these insights, we created a detailed sitemap that laid the foundation for the new site's structure and user experience.
A cleaner, more modern design and a structured, redesigned navigation have resulted in a clear, easy-to-navigate website.
A new customized CRM was developed based on the updated needs. We developed flows to simplify payment routines for both members and administrators. We implemented WooCommerce Subscriptions together with Klarna and Recurring Payments.
After approval and an initial payment, all members are now charged on an annual basis without the need for physical invoices or any manual intervention. In addition, all annual fees are automatically synchronized to Fortnox for bookkeeping and accounting.
All data is synchronized bi-directionally and we always have fresh and up-to-date status on active and inactive members.
To simplify the login method for all members, we have switched to Bank ID login. The technical solution is provided via Sign In With Klarna (SIWK) and a WordPress implementation we developed ourselves.
When you log in, your current address, telephone number and e-mail address are always synchronized with the membership system. In this way, JRF always works with fresh and up-to-date information. They also avoid paying extra costs to other similar API services.
Once logged in to My Pages, members will find their membership information, membership card, insurance certificate (all automatically generated based on active membership, status and membership number). Here they can of course edit their contact information but also add any family members in case of a family membership.
As a regular member, you can take part in internal news and activities aimed at the district and department to which you belong. Personalized offers, take the big hunter test and access the entire document bank based on your rights. As a logged-in member, you can also sign up for activities that require registration and membership.
A major focus of the project was the development of logic for elected representatives in the country, at district and branch level.
With the new My Pages, those with a current board position in the form of chair and secretary can create internal news with attachments for their members, access member lists, search, filter, export. Send group mailings via SMS or e-mail and attach files. Create activities in the calendar and send invitations.
They also have access to a board page with all contact details (updated) and an area for all current board documents.
On top of this, the board can also call an annual meeting, attach appendices, handle the entire process of documents, motions and adjust elected representatives for the next period. In connection with this, everything is compiled to the association, which can review and send out documentation for remuneration and the like.
The association's own magazine, Jakt & Jägare, is available as an e-magazine for logged-in members.
A major part of the activity is training, including the Hunters' Exam. As an aid before and during the courses, members have access to a large hunter test. Your results are saved on My Pages and the 70-question test is randomly selected from a database of over 600 questions.

The association is made up of 20 districts, which in turn are divided into sections. Each district and section now manages its own membership mailings, activities, news and other things that concern their members.
Communication that previously relied on physical mailings can now be handled digitally, which will mean major savings, both financially and in terms of work.
Each district and department also has a public page where they can choose to present activities and news along with their home ranges.
